Who likes collaborations? I certainly do, whether they be the photo kind, the blogging kind, or the creator kind. Today we’ve got not one but TWO creator collaborations to show off. Like I said in “It’s That Chemical Cut That I Can Get Down With, Up Like The Moon And Out Like The Hounds,”
I saw another collaboration TREVOR did with REKT, who is a new brand to me, but like the prior TNK x TRV collabs, the [REKT x TREVOR] collab was a huge win.
It’s That Chemical Cut That I Can Get Down With, Up Like The Moon And Out Like The Hounds (September 14, 2023)
Not only do I have [TNK X TRV] but I also have [REKT X TREVOR] plus more TANAKA on top of that! We are loaded today and I don’t just mean the guns. I brought in some backup and summoned my [REKT X TREVOR] AKI-KON which you may recognize if you’re a fan of Chainsaw Man. Let’s dive in!
Let’s start with TANAKA and all the goods they bring to this scene. We have the collaboration, which we’ll get to in a moment, as well as the NEO-TECH SWEATER (rigged for Legacy Male) and the RE:TACTICAL Gloves (also rigged for Legacy Male). I chose to go with the SKELLY version for each piece of the look because we’re nearing October so spooky season is upon us and I can’t wait to dive into some Halloween posts. I think it’s going to be a ton of fun this year. I know had a blast last year with all of the amazing things that came to be, and I think this year will be even better! Check out ‘May God Have F*cking Mercy When These Five Poor Fools Press “Play”‘ and “Scheming, Haunting, Waiting, Taunting” if you’re curious how the last spooky season was. I say more fun, more spook, more blood, more everything this year.
Next up we’ve got our first collaboration in the shot, the CERBERUS GRAVE which is a badass set of guns that have so many options in the fatpack, and like everything [TANAKA X TREVOR] it does not disappoint. It has two fire modes – Rapid Fire and Overclock + Electric FX which you can somewhat see in my shot. The video below showcases that aspect much better. They come loaded with over 20 SFX and VFX and THREE ultimate skills to use in combat. You have Demolition Shot, Storm Barrage, and Raging Tornado to use on your worst enemies! There are five different wrap textures (Full Black, Gold & Black, Black & White, Cosmic [Fatpack Only], and Industrial [Fatpack Only]). It’s also packed with over thirty bento animations that are to die for!
Then we have the star of the show and our second collaboration, this time [REKT X TREVOR]. The AKI-KON animesh summoning demon. As I said at the beginning you may recognize it if you’re a fan of Chainsaw Man. It is summonable via the amazing HUD and has the epic Bite attack ready to use on anyone the CERBERUS GRAVES can’t handle. The fatpack version has twelve fur textures along with twenty-four eye textures. I chose the red/white/black fur and regular red eyes because I honestly didn’t think about how epic the concentric circle eyes would look until it was too late. There are voice options for both male and female so you can choose whatever fits you best. Check out the video below for a quick look at what this bad beast is packing!
