Ain’t No Need To Complicate It, We Both Know That’s Overrated

Three posts into my first round blogging The Arcade, and somehow we’ve gone from sitting in a classroom, to having a pillow fight, to ending up out on a farm. There hasn’t exactly been a logical path from one photo to the next, but I think that’s becoming one of my favorite things about this round. I get a collection of things in front of me, start playing around with them, and eventually we end up somewhere I probably wasn’t expecting when I started.

I Don’t Need A Camera When You’re In My Eyes

September is one of those months that can’t seem to make up its mind. Summer isn’t really gone yet, fall isn’t really here, and depending on what time you walk outside you could probably make an argument for either one. I’m perfectly fine with that because I’m not in any particular hurry to say goodbye to summer. Fall will get here, it always does, followed entirely too quickly by winter, and I’ll have plenty of time to complain about that when I’m standing in virtual snow trying to put together another Christmas photo. For now, I’m hanging onto the warm weather for a little longer, and FOXCITY gave me a pretty good place to do it.

I Hate Accidents, Except When We Went From Friends To This, Uh Huh, That’s Right

Well, that didn’t take long. A couple of days ago I was writing my first official post for The Arcade, sending Mackenzie back to school, and wondering what I was going to find when I started digging through everything else waiting for me from the September round. Apparently the answer was a bedroom, a bunch of plants, some mushrooms, and an excuse for the two of us to have a pillow fight. I’d say we’re off to a fantastic start.

You Knew What You Wanted, And, Boy, You Got Her, Brand New, Full Throttle

Some events in Second Life have been around long enough that they really don’t need an introduction, and The Arcade is definitely one of them. Even if you’ve never stood there clicking away and telling yourself one more pull before doing six more, chances are you know exactly what The Arcade is. For a lot of us who have been around Second Life for any length of time, gachas became their own little culture inside the larger one.
