LeBron James – February 7, 2023
It’s not often you have the opportunity to watch a record that’s stood for 38 years get broken, but on February 7th that’s exactly what happened. As you know from being here for even a minute I am a diehard Lakers fan and getting to watch LeBron in a Lakers uniform break Kareem Abdul-Jabbar’s All-Time Scoring record was can’t miss television. Going into that game he was 36 points shy of breaking the record so it was almost assuredly going to happen, but I still found myself glued to the screen waiting. Then finally it happened. Absolutely worth it to see someone who has played as long as LeBron has, at the level he has. It’s something I’ll never forget seeing and will be up there with Kobe’s 81 Point game amongst other great Lakers memories.
Thankfully pulling off this picture was extremely easy and fun because I could work from my previous Kobe photo and change things up to fit LeBron instead on this occasion. I think it worked well and hell for me, I could do Laker photos any day and make it fun to do. I went back to FOXCITY’s The Finals backdrop which is a perfect thing for this and made some modifications to achieve my goal as I’m sure you can tell. Balloons are a must and hive’s Black Tie floor balloons are the perfect addition to the event. I pulled in some photos to use on posters and to help illustrate things. Confetti is post-processed in because I just like that way better and I already had it down from doing it previously.
