It’s been quite a long time since I sat down and wrote anything at this hour of the night. Myself and 3am writing have been way out of touch and for good reason, sleep is nice. Sometimes though you just can’t sleep. Whether it be too much on your mind, too much energy, or what sometimes feels like the world just not wanting sleep to happen. Life is life after all. It’s been a couple of days like that so I had to kind of get it out however I could. Blogging has always been that outlet and as you all know I tend to use my blog as more of an open journal than an SL items feature. Don’t get me wrong, I respect those who can do that as often as they do, it’s a talent, sadly one I do not possess. Random rambling though, I got that on lock.
Anyone who knows me well knows that these are the kinds of shots I almost never do. I am not an interior decorator of any sort nor will I ever pretend that I am. But, on rare occasions I do attempt to make something work. I’m not entirely sure that this does, and it probably looked at least 100 times better in my head, but I know the intent to it so for me it’s okay. It’s the subtleties. A small touch here, small touch there. Maybe something I can work on getting better at over time. I just need to actually sit and try to do those things vs “Ahhhh that is not my strong suit.” I can’t sit and go on about breaking the glass and doing something different if I don’t bother to try those things too right?
It’s been a transitional few days this past week, and nope I’m not going into details. I’ve spent a fair amount of time figuring myself out and while I can’t say with 100% certainty that I have it all figured out (who are we kidding, no one does), I can say I’m getting there. I tend to internally deal with things which sometimes is great because it doesn’t drag others into it. Other times (you know the ones where you’re not figuring shit out) it ends up going the other way even though you didn’t want it to. I can own my mistakes with that. Good intentions that don’t end up working the way you anticipated and you can’t blame anyone else for that. Communication is key, but then sometimes your brain gets in the way and muddles up your thoughts and then communication doesn’t work the way you planned.
