Thirty years of Skillet. Eight concerts. A storm at Summerfest, changing lineups, signed memories, Comatose, Monster, and a band that somehow kept becoming part of my own history. Some events in Second Life have been around long enough that they really don’t need an introduction, and The Arcade is definitely one of them. Even if you’ve never stood there clicking away and telling yourself one more pull before doing six more, chances are you know exactly what The Arcade is. For a lot of us who have been around Second Life for any length of time, gachas became their own little culture inside the larger one.

Before I get into the meat of this post I want to be clear. This post is going to be heavy on legitimate information. A lot of words, a lot of my thoughts combined with factual information I have access to. It’s going to have quotes, probably several of them. It’s going to have names. It’s going show consequences and the LACK of consequences. While I’d never demand you to read the entirety of it, I truly hope you take the time to today. This impacts all of us and I won’t sit quietly.
