It’s Our Paradise And It’s Our War Zone

“I’m seeing the pain, seeing the pleasure
Nobody but you, ‘body but me, ‘body but us
Bodies together
I love to hold you close, tonight and always
I love to wake up next to you”

ZAYN – PILLOWTALK

(Warning: everything below these next two paragraphs is very explicit. You have now been warned.)

We’re back in the Let’s Lose Some Sleep post style today. You know what that means: things are about to get steamy in here, as you can see. After a couple of months apart and a lot of thinking on both of our ends, we’re back. I know I spent a lot of time figuring out what I wanted. What I needed. If things needed to change, what were they? After talking quite a few times, she had done the same and wanted to know what conclusions I had come to. So we talked through it and, at the end of it, realized that we’re way better together than not.

We’re not perfect, but nothing ever will be; we just have to work and do our best each day to show up like each other needs. Some days will be great; some we may have to talk through something. Others might be rough, and we’ll figure them out as they come. Our history spans over three years now, and yes, I know time in Second Life is a weird construct, but I don’t mean just in there; we’ve been together, and even though we had differences and took a break, we figured them out, talked like adults, and as of now, though, Mackenzie‘s home. Now onto the steamy part of the post…

The water was already hot when I stepped into the bathroom. Steam curled from the showerhead, fogging the mirror above the sink until my reflection was nothing but a ginger blur. I’d left Mackenzie asleep in the bedroom twenty minutes ago, but I knew better than to think she’d stay there. A couple of months apart taught me exactly how she moved, how she breathed, how she always found her way back to me, even after everything.

The glass door slid open with a soft rasp. Her silhouette appeared through the steam: slim shoulders, blonde hair darkened to wet rope against her back. She didn’t turn around. Just stood under the water, letting it run down her spine, her hands pressed flat against the glass in front of her.

The room held its breath.

“Daddy,” she said. Not a question. A statement.

That word hit me in the chest like a physical thing, a key turning in a lock I thought rusted shut. I stopped at the threshold, one hand braced on the door-frame, taking in the curve of her back, the way her shoulder blades shifted as she tilted her head.

“You weren’t going to wake me?” I asked.

A little laugh escaped her. It rode the steam between us, almost invisible. “You needed the rest.”

“I needed you,” she said while smiling.

That turned her around. The water streamed off her skin, trickling down her collarbone, across her breasts. Her eyes found mine through the water and held. Same color as the first house we shared, same fire, same fear. The collar I’d placed around her neck long before she left was back in place; she’d taken it off the night things ended. For months, I thought that was the end.

But soulmates don’t end. They pause.

“Come here,” I said. Soft, quiet, but it wasn’t a request.

For a moment, she hesitated. That hesitation in her eyes lasted only a breath. But I saw it, that flicker of something old and bruised. Months and months of walls, and she was standing there, naked in the shower, wearing her collar again.

“Mackenzie.” Her name came out smoothly. I stepped into the shower, letting the heat swallow me whole. The glass door clicked shut behind me, sealing us in steam and silence.

She didn’t move. Water streamed over her, plastering blonde strands to her cheeks, tracing the pale lines of her throat. The collar sat there, white leather against her skin, the gold ring glinting under the water. I put it back on her an hour ago, and she let me. That alone said more than any words she could’ve spoken.

“I missed that word on your lips,” I said.

Her chin lifted. “Which one? Daddy?”

The way she said it, soft, testing, like she was afraid it might crumble. I closed the distance between us, and my hands found her waist. Her skin jumped under my palms, goosebumps blooming across her shoulders despite the heat.

“You know I missed you,” she whispered. “I was scared I would never have this again.”

I tilted her chin up. Her eyes met mine, those same eyes that haunted every empty bed I’d slept in since she left. “And now?”

“Now I’m remembering everything from before.” She pressed closer, breasts against my chest, water running between us. “What it feels like to be yours.”

My hands slid down her back, cupping her ass, pulling her flush against me. She gasped, arching into the contact, her fingers curling into the fabric of my shirt. I was still dressed, sweatpants soaked, t-shirt clinging to my shoulders, and the difference between us only sharpened the edge between us.

“You’re wearing too much,” she murmured.

“You’ll fix that,” I muttered.

Her fingers worked my t-shirt with practiced urgency. Steam curled around us as she pushed it off my shoulders, her palms gliding over my chest, tracing the lines of ink that mapped my arms. Each touch was a memory, the way she used to memorize every scar with her fingertips, cataloging me the way I cataloged her.

My shirt hit the shower floor with a wet slap. Her hands found my waistband next, and I let her strip me down to nothing until we stood equal under the steaming water. Her gaze traveled over me, and she bit her lip.

“Two months,” she said. “And you still look at me like that.”

“Like what?” I asked slyly.

She smirked and said, “Like I’m the only thing in the room worth seeing.”

I caught her wrist, brought her hand to my mouth, pressed a kiss to her knuckles. “Because you are.”

She shivered. Not from cold; the shower was scalding, steam thick enough to choke on, but from something deeper. That fear I had seen earlier flickered again, just behind her irises.

“Daddy,” she breathed. “I’m scared of doing this wrong.”

“You can’t do it wrong.” My mouth found her jaw. Her neck. The skin just above the collar’s edge. “All you have to do is let me take care of you.”

Her head fell back against the glass, a moan escaping her parted lips. I dragged my lips down her throat, over her collarbone, lingering at her neck where her pulse hammered like a trapped bird racing against my tongue. Her chest rose and fell faster, her pierced nipples grazing my chest as she arched into me.

“Say it again,” I breathed against her skin.

“Daddy,” she whispered.

“Again,” I requested.

“Daddy.” Her voice cracked, and her hands found my hair, gripping tight. “Daddy, please.”

Fuck. That word. That tone. It unraveled me every time.

I lowered myself to my knees in the shower, the water pouring over my back as I settled before her. Her thighs trembled as my hands eased them apart, guiding her legs over my shoulders. She braced herself against the wet glass, fingers sliding on the soapy surface as I settled my mouth against her.

Her gasp echoed off the walls. The taste of her, clean from the soap, warm from the heat, flooded my senses, and I groaned against her skin before my tongue dragged between her slick lips. She tasted like the first time we ever did this, like the last time I went down on her before she left me, like memory and promise tangled together in a single stroke of my tongue.

“Oh, God.” Her hips rolled forward. “Daddy, it’s been so long.”

“I know, babygirl.” I pressed deeper, circling her clit with deliberate slowness, letting her feel every inch of my desire after so long away. “I’m making up for lost time.”

Her fingers tightened in my hair. The water ran over us both, too hot, too perfect, steam curling around our bodies until the bathroom became a world of its own. I sealed my lips over her, and she cried out, her thighs squeezing around my ears.

Two months. Two months since I’d tasted her, and every lost night came flooding back. I had dreamed of this; her taste, her sound, the way she fell apart under my mouth. Nothing had changed. The way she gasped my name, the way she curled her fingers in my hair, the way her body surrendered to pleasure with a trust that made my chest ache. All of it. Mine.

I slid two fingers inside her, curling upward, finding the spot that made her brain tingle. Her moan broke into a whimper, and she slid down the glass, her body surrendering completely to the sensations I was pulling from her.

“That’s it,” I murmured against her thigh. “Let go for me.”

“I’m…” Her breath hitched. “Daddy, I’m close.”

“Don’t run from it,” I mumbled.

Her eyes found mine through the steam. Glassy. Wanting. Vulnerable in a way she only ever allowed me to see. The collar around her neck felt heavier in that moment, a promise neither of us needed to voice aloud. I dragged my mouth back against her clit, and she shattered.

The scream that tore from her throat was raw, throaty, ripped from the deepest part of her. My name, my real name, not the title, escaped her lips as her body convulsed against my face, and I held her there, until her legs gave out completely and she slumped against the glass.

I rose to my feet, catching her before her knees buckled entirely. She sagged against me, breathless, her forehead pressed to my chest, her fingers clutching at my waist like I was the only thing keeping her upright. Which I was.

“You okay?” I asked, my voice rougher than I intended.

Her laugh was shaky, wrecked. “I forgot how thorough you are.”

“I forgot how beautiful you sound,” I said as I caught my breath.

She looked up at me through wet lashes. The collar glinted at her throat, shifting as she swallowed. Then, slowly, deliberately, she turned around and pressed her palms against the glass. Her back arched, presenting herself to me with a trust that stole every thought from my head.

“Take me,” she said, looking over her shoulder. “Claim me. All of it.”

Her voice was steady now. No fear. No hesitation. Just certainty, hard and bright as the gold ring at her throat.

I didn’t answer in words. I gripped her hips, positioned myself behind her, and pulled her flush against me. The heat of her slick pussy pressed against my cock, and we both gasped as I slid inside her, sinking deep, filling her.

“Fuck,” she choked out, her fingers scraping the glass.

“That’s it.” I pulled back, then thrust forward, hard, burying myself again. “Say my name.”

“Lucky.” A moaning whisper.

“Louder, babygirl,” I said directly.

The water beat down around us. My hand gripped around her throat, guiding the rhythm as I drove into her, slower than I wanted, savoring every inch of her slick inner walls clinging to me. She whimpered, rocking back to meet me, her body moving fluidly against me in the steam.

I leaned forward, pressing my chest to her back, reaching up to tug on her hair, pulling her head back towards me. She cried out, that broken whimper building into an almost-sob, her orgasm already surging toward the surface again.

“Cum for me,” I grunted against her ear. “Cum on my cock, baby.”

The words did it. She broke apart beneath me, around me, her body clenching and contracting and drawing me deeper into her. I followed, my own climax barreling through me as I thrust one final time, filling her with everything I’d been holding onto for months. A hoarse groan escaped my lips as I pressed my forehead between her shoulder blades, the collar pressed against my cheek, steady and cool against my flushed skin.

The water rushed over us, washing everything clean except what we’d just reclaimed. Her hand reached up, finding mine, and I intertwined our fingers against her throat.

Her voice was small and raw, muffled by the steam. “I don’t want to sleep alone tonight.”

A kiss pressed to the leather circling her throat. “You never will.”

The bathroom had turned into a cave. Steam curled in the corners, the mirror a solid sheet of gray. Her legs still shook when I helped her step out of the shower, my arm a steady bar across her back. Every inch of her skin hummed, the way it does after a storm passes; tingling, tender, alive.

“Slow,” I murmured, wrapping her in a towel that I pulled from the rack. “I’ve got you.”

She leaned into me, let me dry her shoulders, her back. My fingers worked the terrycloth in lazy circles, and she watched the water bead on my chest, in the ink of my tattoos. The collar pressed against her throat with every swallow.

“You’re thinking,” I said.

“Always,” she replied

A low laugh rumbled through me. I pressed a kiss to her damp temple, then steered her toward the bedroom. “Get dressed. I’ll make breakfast.”

“Breakfast sounds like heaven.” she caught my wrist before I turned away. “Lucky?”

Her eyes met mine.

“Thank you. For…” she touched the collar. “For all of it.”

My jaw tightened, the way it always did when I was feeling something too big to put a name to. Then I nodded, she watched as my back disappeared through the doorway.

I wasn’t the only one to shoot this scene either; while Mackenzie isn’t writing on this post in particular, she took quite a few shots herself. She’s always been better at finding angles or taking ones I wouldn’t normally take. Usually because I just don’t see it, we’ll have some Perspectives posts in the future for sure on that. But, I wanted to include her perspective in the post. She, of course, said yes, so here’s a lovely slideshow of her viewpoint.

These are all raw shots, no editing.

The bedroom was cool after the shower’s heat. She shivered, crossing to where my clothes were draped over the chair by the window. Her bag sat on the floor, but she didn’t want her clothes. She wanted mine. Something soft and worn and smelling like me.

She grabbed my hoodie from the back of the chair; a heavy thing, somewhat worn out over time, so much so that it had memorized the shape of my shoulders. She slipped it on, letting it swallow her. The sleeves hung past her wrists. The hem brushed her thighs. Perfect.

A crinkle. Paper, somewhere in the lining.

She checked the pocket first. Empty. But when she ran her palm along the inside of the hoodie, her fingers found a tear in the inner pocket’s seam. Hidden. Deliberate.

The paper she pulled out was folded into quarters, yellowed at the edges, soft as cloth from being handled. Her name was scrawled across the front in my handwriting. Not the neat print I used for work. This was messier. Urgent.

Her heart stuttered. She knew she shouldn’t read it. This was private.

But she was already unfolding it, already sinking onto the edge of the bed, already drowning in the words.

Mackenzie,

It’s been two months. Two months since I watched you walk out that door with your collar in your hand and every piece of my heart in your pocket. I know you probably won’t ever read this. I know I should burn it. But I need to say it somewhere, even if it’s just to this page.

I called you babygirl because that’s what you are to me. Not a child. Never a child. But someone so precious that I’d burn the whole world down before I let it touch you. Someone I’d kill for. Someone I’d die for. Someone I’d wait for.

I’m waiting, Mackenzie. Even now. Even when I tell myself I’m not. Every voice I hear isn’t yours. I wake up reaching for you in the dark, and the empty space where you should be is a wound that won’t close.

I don’t know where you are. I don’t know if you’re happy, if you’ve moved on, if you even think about me. But if you do, if you ever wonder whether I meant it when I said forever, read this and know: I meant it. I mean it. I will always mean it.

You’re my soulmate, Mackenzie. That’s not a line. That’s not something people say when they’re trying to get into your pants. That’s the truth I’ve carried since the first night you fell asleep with your head on my chest years ago and I stayed awake for hours just to feel you breathe.

I hope some day you come home to me. However long it takes us. I’ll be here.

Always Yours,

Lucky

The paper trembled in her hands. She pressed her knuckles to her mouth, and a sound escaped her; something between a laugh and a sob, broken in the middle.

Two months. I wrote this after she left, which meant it had been in this hoodie for all of the time that followed. Through rain and sun and whatever life I had built without her. I never sent it. I just held onto it.

She sat and thought about the night she took off the collar. The look on my face when she unclasped it, the way I didn’t try to stop her even though she wanted me to. She needed me to. I’d been so sure I was doing the right thing. Protecting myself. Protecting her from the mess I’d convinced myself this all was.

Now she was wearing my hoodie. My collar. My devotion, pressed into four folds of yellowed paper.

“Mackenzie?” I said questioningly.

She looked up. I stood in the doorway, two plates in my hands, my brow already creasing. I saw the letter. Saw her face. The plates hit the dresser with a clatter.

“Where did you…” My voice came out rough again. “That was supposed to stay in the lining.”

“You kept this,” Her voice wobbled. “All that time. You kept it.”

I crossed the room in three strides, dropping to my knees in front of her. My hands covered hers, steadying the paper. “I didn’t want you to see that. Not yet. Not like this.”

“Why not?” she asked.

I answered softly, “Because I didn’t want you thinking I’d spent all that time pining like some lovesick idiot.” A bitter half-smile tugged at my mouth. “Even though we both know I did.”

She traced the line of my jaw beneath my beard. “Lucky. You left because you didn’t know what else to do. Not because you didn’t love me,” she said as her finger trailed through my beard.

My silence was an answer, and she knew that.

She set the letter on the bed beside her, then framed my face with both hands. “You wrote that you’d burn the world for me. You said you’d wait. And you waited. Months, and when we finally talked things through. You just…” She touched the collar. “You just put this back on me like no time had passed at all.”

“Because for me, it hadn’t.” My voice cracked on the last word. “For me, you’ve always been right here. Every morning. Every night. Every minute in between.”

She kissed me. Not gently, she didn’t have gentle in her right now. She kissed me hard, desperate, pouring everything she couldn’t say into the press of her lips against mine. I groaned into her mouth, my hands sliding up her bare thighs beneath the hoodie, and she realized she was still naked except for the towel she’d dropped somewhere between the bed and the window.

I pulled back, breathless. “Mackenzie. Babygirl. Tell me what you need.”

“I need to know you’re not leaving again.” She pressed her forehead to mine. “I need you to throw that letter away, because the answer is yes. The answer was always yes. Lucky. I’m home.”

My eyes searched hers for a long moment. Then I stood, pulling her up with me, and in one motion I swept the jacket off her shoulders. It pooled at our feet, the worn leather and the letter hidden inside.

“My turn to claim you,” she whispered, catching the waistband of my sweatpants. “You’ve been taking care of me all morning. Now I’m going to take care of you.”

“Mackenzie…” I said with a smirk.

She silenced me with a finger to my lips. “Let me.”

I let her guide me onto the bed, let her straddle my hips, she loosened my sweatpants and pushed them down until there was nothing between us but the bit of steam still clinging to our skin. She sank onto me slowly, inch by aching inch, watching my face as she took me inside her.

My hands found her hips. My head fell back against the pillow. “God, babygirl.”

“This is for you.” She rolled her hips, finding a rhythm that made us both gasp. “For every night you spent waiting. For every word in that letter.” She leaned forward, pressing her palms to my chest, feeling my heart thunder against her right hand. “I’m yours. Say it back to me.”

“You’re mine.” I thrust upward, deep enough to steal her breath. “Always have been. Always will be.”

The collar swung forward, the gold ring tapping her collarbone with each movement. She rode me with everything she had; all the guilt, all the longing, all the love she’d spent months wondering about. When I finally came, it was with her name on my lips and my hands in her hair and the letter’s words still burning behind her eyes.

Someone she’d wait for.

I flipped us both over, driving into her once, twice, before my own release shuddered through me. I held her close as she collapsed against me, her face buried in my neck, my breath hot and uneven against the leather circling her throat.

The letter lay on the floor where we left it. Tomorrow, maybe, I’d burn it myself. Let the smoke carry the waiting into something new. But tonight, it was enough to be here.

To be home.

“I love you,” she whispered.

I lifted my head. Looked at her with those eyes, soft and fierce all at once. “I know, babygirl. I’ve always known. I love you too.”

To be continued…

There will definitely be more in the future. Welcome back to the spicy side of the blog. I know it’s been quite a while since there’s been a post like this. There will definitely be more to come, and more of the usual stuff as well. Credits for everything can be found below. Until next time…

“So we’ll piss off the neighbors
In the place that feels the tears
The place you lose your fears
Yeah, reckless behavior
A place that is so pure, so dirty and raw
Be in the bed all day, bed all day, bed all day”
