I’m sorry it’s taken me so long to get back to posting, the past month has been nothing short of hectic, chaotic, crazy, busy, and everything in between in terms of life. When I saw the Lucky Clover Cafe from FOXCITY I knew it had to be done because well I’m Lucky right. Originally I was going to go with the Classic version but Mackenzie kicked me in the butt and got me to lean into the fairy/elf vibes instead. It was a good choice on her part and turned out really well.
Golden hour has always done something to me. It softens everything. Edges blur, shadows stretch, and the world feels quieter, like it’s holding its breath. I’ve lived long enough to recognize how rare that kind of stillness is, and maybe that’s why I didn’t rush through it. I let it settle around me, let it slow me down. The scene itself felt like it existed just outside of time. Old stone wrapped in ivy, columns that have stood long enough to forget who built them, warm light spilling across the water beyond the balcony. It wasn’t just beautiful, it felt perfect, like I had stepped into a moment that was already waiting and then I saw her.
At first, it was the wings, catching the light in an impossible way, like they were made to hold onto the sun a little longer than everything else. But what I noticed most was her presence. The way she stood there, calm, certain, completely at ease in a place that felt almost unreal. Very much a fairy, without question. Not too delicate, not distant, just completely present. Like she belonged exactly where she was, and somehow, for that moment, I did too. I didn’t think about it when I stepped closer. It wasn’t a decision, not really. It just felt natural, like closing the distance between us was the only thing that made sense. The air felt warmer near her, softer somehow, and then I reached for her, absolutely no hesitation, it was just peaceful and easy.
She looked up at me in a way that made everything else fall away. No rush, no uncertainty. Just that quiet, steady connection that doesn’t need to explain itself. I’ve spent years learning patience, learning to observe instead of act, but with her, time doesn’t feel like something to measure. It feels like something to share. It’s something unspoken between us. No tension, no urgency. Just closeness. The kind that builds in the smallest details, the space between breaths, the way her hand fits in mine like it always belongs there. I don’t ever want to break that. The light wrapped around us, warm and golden, turning everything into something softer, something almost dreamlike.
The world beyond the balcony faded into the background, and for a while, it felt like it was just us and the quiet rhythm of the moment. We’ve both seen countless places, countless faces, but there’s something about moments like this that stay with you. Not because they’re loud or overwhelming, but because they’re simple in a way that feels rare. Real, even when everything else feels touched by fairy magic. We could have stayed there forever, not because we had to, but because we wanted to. Because sometimes, the right place and the right presence are all you need.
Later, when I stepped away from it all and started editing, I found myself smiling at it. FOXCITY’s Lucky Clover Cafe (Fairy) Photo Booth at this month’s Collabor88, bright, playful, a little whimsical in the best way. It felt like the other side of the same world. Like after a moment like that, you could wander somewhere lighter, sit close, steal a few quiet laughs, and hold onto that connection in a different way. It does come in a Classic version as well that is less Fairy and more casual cafe which you can see below. The Fatpack exclusive has a complete garden surround, empty versions of each build, as well as a special glass roof version of each style! Get it before it’s gone because it is amazing! I always say fatpack, so I would fatpack if I were you.
That’s what I love about this particular space and creating for Second Life. The way one moment can feel timeless and the next can feel easy, and somehow they both belong to the same story.
