It’s been a very long time since I last really did a collaboration on a photo, we’re talking like two years of time almost, so it’s time to change that. I’ve always thought I kept a pretty good eye on photos and bloggers that are putting out quality in my opinion, but lately I’ve been proven wrong on that. I suppose that comes along with both tapping out of blogging for quite some time and not really doing much photography wise. Live and learn once again. Every once in a while you see one that catches your eye and it’s like dang how did I miss this person. Then you look at how long they’ve been doing it and it makes you ask that question again. This time it’s even more surprising because you realize it’s been quite a while so you really just missed.
We all know, well any of you lovely people who read this blog still, know my love of music. Specifically anything that falls under the broad umbrella of rock. Now I’ve seen a lot of shows and listened to more songs than I can count, but we all have those bands or singers that just stand out no matter what they’re doing. My list is long, but today we’ll focus on one. You’ve seen them in posts before and you will again, Shinedown. Now I was excited because they have a new album coming out called Planet Zero and if it’s as good as their last album then I’ve got a lot of new music. ATTENTION ATTENTION had zero songs that I was like “meh I can skip that” on it. That’s a high bar to clear.
They did it though and based on the now three songs I’ve heard from Planet Zero they may go two in a row. Sadly it got delayed to July 1st from it’s original date but only because vinyl production is behind. So they delayed so everyone can get the album at the same time no matter the format they like. Kudos to them for that, vinyl is not my thing, but I can understand that for some it’s come back on strong and they deserve to have the album when I do too.
I’m sure you’ll see more of this kind of thing as time goes on too. I’m going to try to be more on the ball of posting more often and keeping things fresh. We’ll see how well I do at that. There’s definitely been a lot of great quality male stuff being put out lately, so that is very promising. It’s always great to have good items to give you great ideas and then you hope you can do it justice. You can find my credits below, and you’ll be able to find hers on her blog at some point.
