Oh, it’s been far too long since I last sat down to write here. Seven months to be exact. I figured it was about time to get back in the swing of things and start up again. I have missed it and while it may take some time to get in the flow of doing it again, I will get there. How often I blog will just depend on when I feel like writing or have an idea for a picture. We’ll take it a post at a time and see where it leads.

This last year has been insanely busy with all kinds of things going on. A lot of good, some less good (I spent way too much time around Doctors this year), and some things you just can’t explain. A lot more time has been spent outside of SecondLife this year as well which explains the lack of posting here. Life is good though, I’ve learned a lot in the last year and a half, and I appreciate everything that’s happened. I’ll write more about all of that eventually but for now, let’s just enjoy what we’re talking about today.

The time spent in SecondLife has been less photo-focused and more focused on what’s going on any particular day that I make it inworld. A lot of exploring various places, cleaning up inventory (which is a never-ending task I swear), and just overall enjoying the time there. Of course, taking care of the new Zooby puppy as well. He’s a Boston Terrier named Milton and rules the house, kind of lol.

The interactivity is really good and I love that Zooby put together an experience for all of the puppy things. It’s something I’d like to see them do with the newborns and babies as well. It makes the care as realistic as possible and does it without having to go all over the place to accomplish it. They might already be planning it for all I know.

It’s been a learning curve getting used to PBR and all the changes that has brought in. Especially being out of the blogging scene for as long as I have. I’ll figure it out though and if any of you awesome readers have any tips or tricks please do hit me up and share them. I’d love to learn more. I’m sure a lot of it is just practice like anything else and getting used to reflection probes, lighting, and playing with settings until you find what you’re looking for. Patience right?

We’ve got some new Linkin Park too which is something I never expected to be writing out. I’ve of course loved unreleased songs from the vault that we’ve gotten on anniversary releases and compilations with Chester singing on them. Songs like Lost, Friendly Fire, and QWERTY just to name a few. But now we have very new and not just new as in songs with Chester that we’ve not heard, but full-on NEW with a new singer to front this version of the band.

Yes, I know some of you are thinking Chester can’t be replaced and he’s not. No one could ever replace what Chester did. They’re not replacing him, they are carrying on the legacy and making more music. It’s a way to keep his memory alive and let the remaining band members keep creating new music. Their new frontwoman, Emily Armstrong has proven to be pretty damn good so far in my opinion. Check out The Emptiness Machine, Heavy Is The Crown, Over Each Other, and Two Faced in particular if you’re curious.

Today I’m wearing one of my new favorites. Ascend’s Walter tank top and pants. Yeah, I know you can’t really see the pants but trust me they are there. It was a must-have as soon as I saw the suspenders on it. Gotta have those. You’ll be able to find them at Ascend’s main store soon as the October round of Man Cave has already come to a close.
