That’s right, we’re keeping the trend going of shooting a photo for the next “month day.” The previous two are “I’ve Been Lost, I’ve Been Found” and “Nothing Ordinary, You’re Extraordinary.” It’s crazy to think we’re already to the third one. We are now married and have Baby Spiritor, who is very much on the way. So Mackenzie and I decided that for this month’s picture, we would incorporate her into the idea and set up this shot. It’s crazy to think it’s officially only the third month because it truly does feel like it’s been a lifetime.

It was a super cute scene to put together, and we both managed to get shots we loved within the first five minutes of shooting, which is a rarity if you know me at all. I always look through about forty EEP settings and end up spending way more time on that than I need to. In the end, I used one that she was using and just shifted my lighting a little bit since we obviously use different settings. We leaned heavily into the pink vibes of a baby girl, and I think it turned out fantastic. Here’s to three months of love, kindness, support, appreciation, and so much more. I cannot wait to see what the days, months, and years ahead of us hold!

We got some work done on setting up Baby’s nursery last night as well which we’ve been wanting to do. Finally had some time last night to really sit down together and put things together. It was really nice to do, and I think she’s going to have a very cozy space ready for when she arrives. I’m sure there will be tons of pictures to come once she’s here, so we’ll save the nursery for then hehe. To pull off our shot for this month’s photo, we went back to Secret Poses and their Almost Here pose set because it was perfect for what we wanted. Let’s be honest, too; they always put out incredibly good pose sets.

I spent a bit of time trying to figure out where to shoot this one. I considered the idea of being in the house, but figuring out where in there was hard. Could have been the nursery, but then we’d have to rush decorating it, and as Mackenzie said, she didn’t really want to do that. We preferred to take our time on it, so it wasn’t rushed at all and came out looking the way we wanted. Rather than throwing it together so we could shoot the picture. So I pulled out FOXCITY’s Flutter photo booth in Blush, and it ended up adding just a bit more pink to our scene. I love it so much. The wedding post will be coming too; I haven’t forgotten; just a matter of time so it’s done right and ready. Soon^TM, I promise! Credits for everything else can be found below!
