Simple Plan & State Champs [Ft. We The Kings] – Where I Belong
Vacation starts tomorrow and I know I am going to be busy as can be with all of that. So today before that kicks off I wanted to find time to drop a post. Why you ask? Well, let me tell you, friends, for the first time in a long time around here we have a new sponsor! That’s right we have entered the [Bad Unicorn] universe and I could not be more excited about it. I love doing different things with my posts and photos and gosh do they ever fit in perfectly for that. I have long been a fan and own a good chunk of things from there as it is, but the opportunity to showcase items officially was too good to not take a shot at. I didn’t know if I would get the chance to do it and when I saw I got it I knew I had to start rolling with an idea. Pun not intended, but totally accepted.
Now when I think of doing something different, I’m trying to find a way to show off something that isn’t what I see elsewhere. Not that the normal uses aren’t awesome to do, they are, but the vibe I get from [Bad Unicorn] is a fun laid-back one so I wanted to frame it that way. Sometimes it works out great, sometimes it doesn’t work out well at all. But this one I had a very good feeling about and either way I had a blast putting it together and using a few things from [Bad Unicorn] to pull it off.
The E – Scooter was available at this past month’s round of Kustom9 (yes I know it just ended yesterday and I’m a day late, but it will be in the store soon). The scooter was the centerpiece of the shot and I decided to frame everything else around it. I ultimately chose the red version to stay in the feel of the shot, but it has tons of color options to choose from. I promise you it is worth picking up when it gets to the main store!
Now I could use a street, some kind of ramp, loads of ideas floated around in my head, ultimately though I chose this direction. One that ended up being HUGE but I think worth the temporary land impact. I took the [Bad Unicorn] ‘Unicorn’ Pinball Machine from the previously released gacha ‘Budget Bachelor Set’ and scaled it up about 500%. I decided that running from pinballs and a rogue Chonky-Corn inside of the pinball machine was going to be way more fun. It was a blast to set up and shoot, even if I did have to wing a pose to get close to what I wanted.
Outfit-wise I kept it reasonably standard since I knew I had a lot going around me and wanted that to be the focus. I had to add some fun to the outfit too right? I picked up the Birdy Hat – Angry from Ananas because color-wise it just fit perfectly. Then I turned another new face to the blog, marshmallow. to add a couple of small but mighty additions. I picked up the Sassy Name Tag fatpack (cause fatpack duh) and since I’m blogging my name is “busy” isn’t it. I also snagged a box of Anxiety Juice in the perfect-for-me flavor Social Interaction cause that’s what we’re doing! There are more flavors so you should definitely check them all out. I know they’ve just set up a new in-world store too so stop by and visit! Now I need to get my butt ready for vacation before I have no outfits planned.
