First off apologies for my silence over the past week or so. I got what I thought was just the flu, which turned into a sinus infection, which then turned into Covid. So it’s been a bit crazy in the life department with all of that. It meant a lot of sleeping, feeling like shit, and doing nothing. Sadly that’s impacted me shooting much of anything let alone having the energy to even be at the computer. I hope it keeps progressing and getting better so I can resume normal functions. It’s a waiting game but one I have to play. Thankfully I’ve dealt with it before and have all of the wonderful vaccinations for it so it’s as tolerable as it can be.

It’s definitely set me behind on my blogging wants. Thankfully I don’t have a ton of requirements to deal with but I still feel like I’m being a slack by not posting as much as I’d like to. I toughed out the flu part, and even the sinus infection, but when the Covid test came back positive I knew I was in for more. I am glad it’s nowhere near as bad as it could have been but to say it’s been easy would be a lie. I had it just about a year ago and that was tolerable. This time around though it has rocked me a lot harder. I’ve run the gamut of symptoms from extreme soreness to headaches, fevers, and chills, the worst cough I’ve ever had, and lord the lack of breath is the worst.

It came at a really inopportune time as well. Not only would I like to be ahead of the game with my blogging but I have a lot of WoW things on deck that require my attention. I had planned on getting some blogs done and prepped for when the new WoW expansion launches on November 28th because that entire week will be dedicated to grinding and busting ass to get the team ready to go for all of the new adventures we’ll have. I fear I may not be as prepared as I wanted to be, but there’s nothing I can do about the current situation. Just have to see it through and get to feeling like myself before we get that far in the month. Slow and steady, so so slow.

But enough about the plague that’s knocked me down. We’ve got some new things to talk about and I want to get to them before I run out of steam. I modeled the idea of this post from an old post in 2016 but brought it forward with my current look and a few look thanks to Tanaka’s KATORI sweater from this month’s round of The Warehouse Sale. I love some black because it truly goes with everything so having my choice of options made it a go-to use for this. You can pick it up in five different versions until November 18th. Secondly, I’ve got a new pose to use for this shot that really fits the sick feeling I’m feeling in real life. Let’s hope that gets better so I can get back to the usual things here.
