Today we have all kinds of new and awesome things to talk about! I’m really excited to sit and write this one to showcase some epicness (yes that is not a word but we’re using it). Most if not all of us have seen Stranger Things, and if you haven’t what are you waiting for? There are FOUR seasons you can binge and there’s a very high chance you’ll be just as hooked as the rest of us are. I have even slacked on it though, I still have to finish the fourth season, and I will, when time permits it. Yes yes things have already been spoiled for me but it’s still worth the watch. Today we’re taking some inspiration from Stranger Things in both our color palette in the photo and a little bit of what I’m wearing.
I won’t explain too in depth because #spoilers, but the jacket I’m rocking from TANAKA is worn by a certain character in a season and I’ll be damned if I didn’t love when I first saw it released. I of course forgot to grab it because life got busy and then the other night, thanks to Mike, I found my way to it again. I’ll save the story on that, but I ended up at TANAKA looking for something and saw Blogotex was up and they were looking for bloggers. I like the style and uniqueness of the items they create and thought I could really work with those kinds of things and do the kind of posts I love to do. So I applied, and well you’re here now so I’m thrilled to say that I now blog for TANAKA and you’re going to get a good dose of them on a regular basis!
The EDDIE jacket is available in four different styles and each on is absolutely amazing. The detail and variation between them makes each stand out in it’s own way and I love them all. I went the darker route and chose to wear the Hellfire version, which is not the main one you see in the show, but again #spoilers. You may have seen it at last month’s round of The Warehouse Sale, and if you didn’t grab it then, you should grab it when it’s available at the main store.
Not only is the jacket created by them, but the NEOTECH CARGO pants and CHAINED BASEBALL BAT are also. I figured why not put something together that works and shows off more than just one thing. Start out big and that worked well for this post because if you’re in the upside down and need to take out some baddies, this baseball bat is going to come in handy. There are FIVE different versions of the CHAINED BASEBALL BAT available at this month’s round of ALPHA, I chose to use the Classic Smasher to do the job because I felt like the colors worked for what I wanted. The “Dark” version was a contender but I knew the picture would be darker as would the skeletons and I didn’t want to lose the detail of the bat in all of that. There are also five different options for the NEOTECH CARGO pants (available at this month’s round of The Warehouse Sale) and let’s be honest the dark one was the right call for this. I wanted that dark evil vibe and they fit in perfectly for this.
What else is new you might be asking yourself. Well there is more. Where are my LeLutka EON guys at? I see you all, I know most of you moved from Skyler to EON and you’ve been missing your beard a little bit haven’t you? You know which one I’m talking about too. I am happy to report that at the upcoming round of Man Cave, you lovely EON wearers will have a new beard. [MAGNIFICENT] is back and the hipster beard and faded beard will be there. This is a very early sneak peek at the faded version, but it’s everything you’ve come to know from [MAGNIFICENT]. I’ve only worn one beard place for years now, even if it meant delaying a head change, and this is the place. I know Stefan has worked hard to make sure it fits right and is what you all want.
