Happy Canada Day!

Happy Birthday Canada! It’s the first year I know that I’ve celebrated it thanks to my lovely Portia. I was trying to cook some good food for us to each but she insisted on bombing me with water balloons. Needless to say we are eating late this evening. It’s very cool that both Canada and the US celebrate similar but separate holidays within just a few days of one another. I had absolutely no idea the holiday existed. That’s some Americanism for you ain’t it.

I had the idea for this yesterday and thankfully I didn’t get a chance to do it yesterday. With the Gacha Guardians starting today I was able to add in a bunch of awesome BBQ items. They really helped bring the scene to life. Both The Annex and 22769 ~ [bauwerk] aided me greatly in my quest to cook a top notch meal. The Gacha Guardians, if you haven’t heard of it, is a multi location gacha event. Each store involved in it has a machine at their store and you wear a HUD that you can get at any of them. When you get to the machine you click the large rune stone and it adds to your HUD. What that does is allows you to use keys that you get from a certain number of plays to be used in the Treasure room. You have to get around to all of the machines before you can teleport to the room but it’s a ton of fun and well worth doing.

Since the idea of the water balloon bombing happened I decided to rock my Wet Shirt from Gabriel. I missed out on the version of it that came out last year so I was super excited to see this one show up at this round of Kustom9. There’s also a ladies dress that’s incredibly hot as well. Portia decided to deck herself out in the latest from FaMESHed and Fifty Linden Friday. The Dana shirt from Candy Doll paired up nicely with her Penny Shorts from Just Because. She’s totally itching for Exile’s Wicked Games hair to be available in her favorite tones but I told her she’ll just have to wait. Mwahaha. Three other things I can’t forget are Izzie’s Pride Bracelets, alaskametro<3’s “Pride” nail polish, and Garbaggio’s Valentine Sandals. All three are available at Pulse and are 100% donation items.
