Oh, you know it, we are keeping our “Month Day” photos going because memories are great to have, and doing it together makes it all the more special. The prior three are “I’ve Been Lost, I’ve Been Found” , “Nothing Ordinary, You’re Extraordinary.”, and “But Good News, We Got Her To Get Through It.”

This month is an extra special one because we’ve officially welcomed our little bundle of joy into the world. That’s right on November 11th, 2023 at 1:24am, Charlotte Adeline Spiritor, was born. Both Mackenzie and Charlotte are doing extremely well as you can tell and we are both overjoyed at having her here finally. It’s been amazing to experience together and I couldn’t be happier having her with us finally.

When I met Mackenzie if anyone would have tried to tell me how much this amazing woman would change my life, I don’t know that I would have believed it. Obviously, the hope of things working and going well was there, but I could never have guessed the impact one person could have on everything. She is the most resilient, thoughtful, loving, smart, and funny, person I have ever met. Trust me that list could go on for days as I have told her numerous times before. No matter what the day has been like for either of us, whether we get five minutes or five hours to spend together, we always make the most of it.

Something as simple as just getting to talk makes the day. A lot of times having conversations with people can be awkward, challenging, or there’s just weird silence in moments. I can’t even count the amount of times that’s happened with other people. I can honestly say that the two of us could probably talk about anything and do it for hours, effortlessly. I don’t think I have ever experienced that before. She brightens every single day, and I will never take that for granted.

To think that the last time I wrote a “Month Day” post Charlotte wasn’t even here yet and now she is, it’s crazy. It’s been incredible to share that journey together, watching her interact with our little one has been such a joy. She is such a loving mother and honestly, I knew she would be from the moment we talked about having one of our own. I have taken so many snapshots as we’ve spent time together, definitely a lot of little moments that just mean the world.

This is just the beginning of a beautiful story that gets better and better. I could not ask for more than the time we have together, no matter what we’re doing, where we are, or how long we get. She is the blessing of all blessings and I love her with all of my heart. ♥
