I am so unbelievably excited. I mean I have been excited before but this is a whole different level of excitement. We both are very thrilled to be expecting our first little one together. That’s right, we are pregnant! We’ll be welcoming our little bundle of joy into the world this November at some point. I’m a November baby, so it’s really cool to be having a little one in the same month. I can’t wait to start this journey with Mackenzie. She did a spectacular job of surprising me with the news; I never saw it coming. She made got an awesome “Hello Daddy” box with a onesie, booties, and the positive test and made me a beautiful card to tell me the details. I’m still on cloud nine from it! I can’t wait to meet our little ginger baby ♥

It really is amazing to be able to experience all of the things that we are together. It’s the first time I’ve done this, and I definitely want to make sure I do it right. We already started doing some shopping in preparation, and gosh, things are adorable. We picked up the Dust Bunny Sage Nursery, which is beyond cute. Still, a ways to go, but we’ve found some awesome stuff at Nutmeg and BIJOU as well. There are so many things to do before the day comes, so I anticipate a lot of work, time, and patience in getting everything right for her arrival. I have to make sure I take care of Mommy, too. First, we’ve got the wedding, which I already know will be great. Then, the baby will be here, and we’ll be an even bigger family. I’m already dreaming up Christmas cards and stuff. I know, I know, getting way ahead of myself.

Count on photos, posts, and all the good stuff that goes along with it. I know with how excited we both are about this next chapter in our story that we’ll be doing tons of photo shoots. Especially once the baby arrives because you have all of the lovely moments together to capture. All of the firsts, new things, going places, I cannot wait! Memories are going to be made and remembered for all of time. I couldn’t ask for a better woman to create a brand new life with. I love you, baby; I am so excited for our future.
