WHOA. No really whoa. It’s October and hot damn do I have some new things to show all of you wonderful people. Today is October 5th and if you’ve been around the grid for even a moment you know that means the new round of The Mens Dept is open. Boy oh boy is it a good one too. We’ve got new things from Legal Insanity, RealEvil Industries, and of course [MAGNIFICENT]. The MENSELECTED Event is also in full swing and my perfect posing is provided by B(u)Y ME Poses and made for a really nice clean look that I loved immediately. Let’s explore.

At this month’s round of MENSELECTED Event, B(u)Y ME Poses has the Dylan Pose set exclusively available there and it is SMOKIN’. No really it is, in more ways than one. It has two sits and three stands, plus mirrors of each pose, with cigarettes included for every single pose. I was really excited to see that I could use this to pull off a pretty damn nice styling if I do say so myself. Not only are the poses exceptionally well done, but you get all of the poses and props, as well as a pose stand loaded with all the poses for the super reasonable price of 350L. What is not to love about that?! Get on over there and pick it up, then hit up their store for more amazing things. As a blogger I’ve been thrilled to have another pose place that is making quality poses for men, women, and couples.

Now we’re onto The Mens Dept. The STAPLE Men’s event on the grid in my honest opinion, is back, and boy does it not disappoint one bit. Now you all know I’m a [MAGNIFICENT] stan from previous posts and well from seeing me in general. Normally the things you’d see me wearing are my hair (which I’ve kept forever because it’s just me) and my beards. I’ve written before about how I stuck with outdated heads to keep my beards and when Stefan Le Barbier returned and got back into making things, I was finally able to move into a new head and expand beyond the one I loved. In the years since then I can say, not only do I love everything that comes from [MAGNIFICENT], but I can honestly say that I call Stefan a friend and brother of mine.

As you probably know, and if you don’t, you will now, I handle the beta testing of products for [MAGNIFICENT], thanks to my bro trusting in my ability to do that for him. I take the role very seriously because it’s his work and when it releases I want it to be working exactly how it should, and because I love [MAGNIFICENT] outside of my testing duties. When this newest release was shown to me I was hyped to see something new. Not hair, not a beard (I love those things so please keep making them haha), but a pair of some amazing sunglasses that I knew would become a favorite in my outfits and look going forward.

After testing them I was sold, literally, that they were great, and I hope you all enjoy them as much as I did in testing them and do in wearing them now. I know Stefan worked his ass off to make sure they were up to his standards and I can say you should head over to The Mens Dept to give them a try ASAP. The demo has a full operational HUD to test everything you can do with the and I urge you to try that out first. They are unrigged so anyone can wear them, men, women, kids, furries, etc. Head over and give them a try. I have two more new things from The Mens Dept and some new shoes. I knew I needed to look damn good when I put the sunglasses on and when I peeked at TMD, I saw Legal Insanity’s Damon Leather Jacket and immediately fatpacked it. There are brands in SecondLife that I just fatpack by default because I know they’re that good and I have confidence in the fit and look. This jacket does -NOT- disappoint in it’s appearance at all. The texture work is fantastic and the detail in the small creases as well as the wear and texture on the leather blows me away. This jacket is a must have for all of the guys out there and I’m sure they all know it’s true but if they don’t you need to check it out.

RealEvil Industries has also been a brand that I’ve grown to trust massively in the time they have been creating and so much that they too get a fatpack purchase immediately if I like the look of something. No reason to demo or test when you know the work is top notch. **RE** is always on point with their options, textures, designs and the ability to hide whatever rings/bracelets you would want to. The summary is The Mens Dept October is a must stop, shop, and walk away happy event.

Finally I can’t forget the shoes. I just can’t. You noticed them in picture I’m sure, hell I did and I took the picture. They just stand out and truly set the tone for going with black and yellow for the photo. [Shoeminati] has been another brand that I’ve loved since I found them and when they released Wu-Tang xDunkHi a few days I needed them. They are made to fit just about every mesh body out there and are always beautifully made. Make sure you stop by the [Shoeminati] Main Store to check them out as well as all of the other shoes available.
