I’m going to be really really honest for a minute or two. Not that I’m not normally but I don’t usually call it out. So I really didn’t know if or when I was going to really sit and write anything of substance out. But something lit a fire under me tonight so here I am. What it was is irrelevant and yes I do mean completely irrelevant. What I do know for sure is know what or who you’re talking to or about before you open your mouth. Because if by chance you don’t you might end looking like your full of shit. Pro tip for the future peeps. Knowledge is power, use it.

Onto to bigger and better things though right? So you all know I have long been a supporter and fan of Ocean Blackthorne and Bakaboo. If you don’t then I mean either you’re new here (in which case hey hi hello welcome to blog!) or you haven’t been paying any attention at all. Either way that’s all good. What I do know is I sat the other night and thought about my coming back to SL. I know I’ve talked about that before and my biggest issue has always been finding my “it” reason to be back. A lot of things have changed over the past year or two and that’s definitely had an effect on the prism with which I viewed Second Life.

After I thought about it for a while, and it was late and I might have been chemically altered by cold medicine, but my thoughts were clear. Outside of my SL family (you guys know who you are) the one person who really has always had my back, always believed in and supported everything I did whether or not it involved their designs, was Ocean. It led me to reiterating my support for him and his work on Facebook which I had no problems with. I love to show support for those who have done the same for me. Some may call it sucking ass, but I look at it as respect. I respect this man’s work and the time and care he puts into everything he creates. He takes the time to like your photos and not just give you one word “Thanks.” replies. Each has thought put into it and is directly to the person he’s responding to. So if you are the kind of person to look at showing a friend, co-worker, creator, etc some respect by doing certain things, save your chapstick. I can think of better uses for it, and I’m sure you can too. =)

Before I carry on endlessly I need to touch on not only what I’m wearing (because it is amazing), but the pieces of the random set I ended up with. I had no idea when I setup to shoot this shot. I literally threw things together and combined two of my absolute favorite Second Life brands. Those two being Bakaboo and E.V.E. I have blogged both them multiple times before and my love for them will never die. Both Ocean and Noke are amazingly kind and wonderful people. They bring a joy and love to the creative things they do that you don’t always see.

From Bakaboo we have The Luka suit. It is currently available at Man Cave (I’m reading it ends on the 9th, but I’m standing there now and it’s still here so in the event it’s not it will end up in the Bakaboo store). It comes in a multitude of colors and allows for a lot of options when combining the different combinations you can make. My brother Brennan has an extremely good breakdown of it on his blog if you’re curious. From E.V.E I’ve combined a couple of old favorites with the KOI Confetti and the Dancing Bubbles together with a couple of gacha items from the Poison gacha that I sought out to finish off my wild idea.

Like I said at the beginning knowledge is power, and if you don’t know anything about what you are talking about then you might find it more useful to keep your lips together, fingers off the keys, finger off the push to talk button, whatever else. Just don’t hit send if you really aren’t sure. Because honestly all you’ll end up doing is pushing that person towards something else. In this case, back here on the blog doing my thing. I’m not sure if that’s good or bad, but it’s where we are.

I am back. I’m not going anywhere, and this shit is just getting started. Whether you love me or hate me, you know where you stand with me. If you don’t then it’s safe to assume it’s probably not good. I forgive, I don’t forget. I win, I lose, but I will never give something less than my best. Wherever the story takes me next is yet to be written. But that’s the fun of life and Second Life. Onto a new chapter… By the way here’s your chapstick, you’re gonna need it when you kiss my ass.
