Public Service Announcement: Do NOT fall asleep in the sun for an extended period of time. You will undoubtedly get sunburn if no one else is around to wake you up.
Good lord almighty does it burn after you wake up and realize you have been asleep for hours. I couldn’t help it honestly, being out in the middle of the water with the cool breeze blowing on my skin was just too relaxing. Somehow I managed to stay on my SUP board the entire time. I have to think I might have been better off if I had fallen in the water and saved myself from the intense sunburn I now have. SPF 50 from now on, no question.
I had quite a fun time putting this shot together. It all started out when I saw Izzie’s Body & Face Sunburn at Summerfest 2016. I wasn’t sure of how I wanted to use it but it was definitely a must have item along with her other creations. The Body & Face Sunscreen and the Body & Face Beach Sand are both as amazingly made. I also made sure to pick up both the Body and the Face waterdrops to use in the future. Job well done on all of those Izzie Button. I absolutely LOVE them!
After I decided that the middle of the water on our home sim was the place to be I needed the rest of it to come together. I took a trip over to Men Only Monthly and picked up [Pumpkin]’s Retro Shorts to use as some swim trunks, they’re made to fit the men’s Slink Physique and I have to say they fit incredibly well. I grabbed the V2 update for my FATEstep Epps sandals and I had my look complete. I took out my fantastic SUP board from BALACLAVA! (also at Summerfest) and paddled out to my spot. What I can’t show you in the picture is how nice all of the poses in it are, as well as the way it bobs up and down in the water. I urge you to head over there and pick one up yourself, it’s well worth it’s price.
Summer has only just begun and I already know mine is going to be jam packed full of all kinds of things. There are some big plans in the works as well. I can’t speak on all of them just yet but I promise they are going to be pretty cool. One thing is for sure there will be a ton of learning in the coming months. For now it’s to go inside, throw on as much as Aloe as I can and try to sleep.
