Summer nights! Summer days! We got a lot of both in our visit to Timor Isles @ Bali courtesy of HighLife Destinations. As always it was an incredible time and to say the place is beautiful is an understatement. I definitely overbooked for just us but it was pretty awesome to have the views and privacy that we did with the Sunset Villa. I’ll make sure to put some raw shots of the villa for you in here because we all know I’ll edit some pictures, but there’s no way I’m doing every shot haha. I feel like it doesn’t need to be said but this will be a very photo-heavy post so prepare yourselves.

This is at least the fifth time I myself have visited a HighLife Destinations location and you might think that makes me crazy, but trust me when I say until you’ve gone to one, you really can’t understand. I could try and explain but I promise it won’t do it even close to justice. If you get the chance you need to go, even if only for a weekend, it’s so worth it. Every time I’ve been there I’ve been treated incredibly well and this time was no different. We arrived on time to check in and of course, you’ve got other people with you because check-in is the same time for all of us which is nice because you see the other groups that are there when you are.

We all got checked in and took the boat tour over to the breakfast area on one of the sims. Tye and I spent part of the boat ride reminiscing about the previous vacation destinations and me having been to every one of them now, including the original Timor Isles @ Bali from 2020. It’s always awesome to be remembered and I try to make sure I show them the same appreciation and love that they show me when I’m there. Gabe, Tye, and the entire HighLife Destinations team are second to none, and I’ll fight anyone on that.

I knew when booking this trip that it was going to start on Mackenzie’s birthday so I made sure to add in the special request to add some birthday decorations to our villa. Gabe of course more than delivered on that by nailing the color, making sure we had plenty of balloons and confetti to celebrate the occasion as well as a lovely cake to enjoy. (You can see that in the first photo of the post, I wanted to make sure we got a shot of that because it meant a lot to both of us.) I truly can’t thank them enough for that because the experience of being there and seeing all of the things they do is the true value of the vacation itself, that time with your person, or people you’ve gone with, is made by the work and care they’ve put into that location. It shows time and time again and I know I will be back.

On the boat ride, Tye made sure to mention that there were hidden spots, trees, and more to get freaky on. For the record Timor Isles @ Bali is a 100% Adult resort so there are TONS of things to do with all of the adulting you could want. You all know me I’m good with all of that and when this particular tree came into my line of sight Saturday night I knew it just had to be the place.

We made sure to circle back to that tree after dinners, and stuff were out of the way and had a good amount of fun before nailing what is one of my favorite vacation photos ever. Tye, I told you it would happen; suggesting things to me is always going to make me go, hmmmm, let’s see what we can do with that. I think it turned pretty damn hot while staying in the not-full-on porn vibe that I could have shot; I like being fancy-ish with these kinds of shots most of the time because you really can do so much more than make it hardcore. I think there’s more of a challenge to that aspect of it, and it’s one I enjoy. I’m quite sure she enjoyed it too.

Now there are plenty of things to do in Bali and I’m going to briefly go over the ones we did because I don’t want to comment on the ones we couldn’t get to in our time there. Mackenzie made dang sure we went over to check out the flume ride because it is in Gabe’s own words “My pride and joy” and it was pretty damn awesome. It’s very well laid out and longer than you’d expect, just make sure you aren’t a giant or you will get stuck. Don’t worry about remembering that part because Gabe will definitely remind you if you are as will the sign by it that no one really reads because who reads? We loved it Gabe, I see why it’s your pride and joy and I was just short enough to not get stuck haha.

We also took in the entirety of Bali courtesy of the hot air balloon tour that covers everything. I can say with how much ground it covers I’m glad I didn’t have to fly it and that it’s on its own course. I loved being able to see it all from up high and take in the full vision they had when creating this place for all of us. We also walked the entire sim taking in all of the views and exploring the hidden spots and beautifully planned out layout of everything. It sounds crazy to have walked it all, but the walkways that connect each sim made for a very easy trip across them and really allows you to explore it from the ground up. All in all both tour options turned out to be great in their own right and I’d do both again just for the views alone.

Now if you were unaware in Bali there is A LOT of water which makes for some amazing photo spots (I always look at things from that perspective). Really though it makes for a ton of great views and options to do things. You can use the various jet skis, sea-doos, and other things, to zoom around the sims. You can swim with the dolphins and orcas, and you can ride elephants that are wandering the sims as well. There are tons of beach spaces from the large one where most people can congregate to smaller more private ones if you’re not feeling super social or want that bit of alone time.

You can also do scuba diving, which is one thing we didn’t get to, but we plan to the next time we’re there. That being said we did make sure we got an underwater photo taken because it was too good of an idea to pass up. I love getting varying shots to use for the vacation posts because I just want to show off the different things they do. I’d take a million if I could but then I’d never get to the vacation portion of the trip haha.

I also made sure to book a private Sundara romantic dinner, which as usual absolutely beat my expectations. When we checked in I had just gone with the time they asked if we could do, which I mean we would have made work if necessary. It was a bit early and clashed with schedules a little so after talking I told Mackenzie I’d reach out to Tye and see if I could possibly get it moved. I couldn’t guarantee it but why not try right? Tye of course found a spot to shift us to, which allowed us to enjoy the evening as long as we wanted to and catch this great shot above. Props to Mackenzie for picking her outfit, to which I only had to find something that worked with it, making my job easier. Truly an amazing dinner, and a special thank you to A’storia for her service and wonderful roleplay throughout dinner. It made for a lovely time and we’ll cherish it forever.

Overall we both loved every second of the time we were able to spend together in Bali and it wouldn’t have been possible without everyone on the HighLife Destinations team. I said it at the start and I’ll say it again they truly go above and beyond all the time. The dedication to each design, each attraction, and the roleplay experiences (even if you’re not an RPer and I’m not, it’s second to none in my opinion), I honestly can’t say a bad thing about anything. I think I can speak for both of us when I say we’ll be back, and probably sooner rather than later. Thank you as always Gabe & Tye, you’ve always treated me well and I truly hope I do the same for you and your team. Your work made the birthday weekend a hit and we’ll never forget it.
