I’m exceptionally late in getting this posted mostly because I was busy with other things and taking a bit of breather after a whirlwind week. Back on Thursday we had an early birthday party for Aria’s daughter Willow. It was a medieval jousting setup that we secretly put together over the course of the week and let me tell you secret keeping is hard but not impossible for some of us. It ended up being a perfect surprise and was one hell of an idea by her husband Benton. He is the mind behind the party, and without the idea, nothing else would have come together. He’ll tell you that we did a lot of the decorating but I stand by it being a team effort that paid off in fun for the whole group.
By the way, jousting is the most insanely difficult thing I have ever done in SL. It’s not even close to anything else. Maybe one of these days one of us will hit something other than air. Possibly. That being said it’s pretty damn cool to try your hand at so you might want to check it out if you get the time to. Best of luck to you if you give it a shot. Please enjoy some of the snaps that the lady of the house managed to take while we enjoyed the festivities.
