We find our heroine on the trail of the local drug kingpin. She bursts through the door of his warehouse after dispatching the thugs protecting it. Does the kingpin fall or does our heroine meet her end…
I have had the idea for this shot in my head for about two weeks now. I worked on the scene off and on over that time, picking it up every now and again for other projects we had going on. It kind of made it drag on longer then anticipated but we finally got it setup and DONE a couple of days ago. Sadly I wasn’t able to finish the work on the picture since it was Tuesday and I’ve got raiding on Tuesday/Wednesday night. I managed to get a bit done before each night and have to say I am pretty happy with the result.
It’s funny to me how just one item can spawn an idea in a blink. This one really started out with seeing the [iD]BanK DooR at Cosmopolitan (which ends on April 9th, so if you want it hurry over!) It probably doesn’t hurt that I’ve been watching a lot of Daredevil and Jessica Jones over the last few weeks as well. All of the awesome fight scenes and crazy things happening has been a ton of fun to watch again. I had already seen both of them before, but wanted to introduce Portia to them. We’ve since watched all of season one for both and are almost done with the second season of Daredevil.
I truly enjoyed the time it took to build it, granted all of the um great drug related props made it a lot easier. [NikotiN] does such an amazing job with all of that. It really helped bring the idea into focus and let me be the imaginary kingpin I wanted to be. Of course then Portia came in and used her teachings in Krav Maga on me. How does the scene play out, you’ll have to wait and see. There’s a cliffhanger for ya. Credits for everything are below and we fade to black.
