Halloween is nearly upon us! Two weeks from tomorrow is officially trick or treat time in my neck of the woods. Granted I’m far too old to be doing it now myself, though I do feel nostalgic about it when I see the kids going around. I’m sure my SL children will get all dressed up and we’ll go around having fun here. We still have to finish decorating the land for this time of year.
Late last night I was hanging out while my dear Portia was busy, and I felt like browsing the marketplace. You’d be surprised how often I come across one item that leads me to a store I’ve never seen before. It’s always awesome to find somewhere new to shop. This time around it was ODDITY 3D! I love finding stores that do clothing for the guys. We get a fair amount of items but nowhere near the amount our female counterparts get.
The first item I decided to demo from ODDITY 3D was the Robert – Denim StoneWashed Jeans. I feel like you can never have enough good jeans so I like to give any of them a shot. I was pleasantly surprised at how well they fit to not only the normal avatar but my Slink Physique as well. They are fitted mesh, no standard sizing here, just to be clear! There are three different cuff styles (standard, flat, and tight), a shorter length, and a shortest length. The texture on them is amazingly well done and even has the option for full bright and materials. I could explain how much the HUD impressed me, but I think showing you it would be better.
As you can see there, it has 37 denim textures, 27 belt textures, and 9 buckle textures. After I saw that and tested out the demo I knew they were something I needed to have. The very reasonable price of L$390 certainly helped make it an easy decision. Once I saw the quality of the work I pretty much grabbed any other demo that was available. If one thing is good, odds are the others could be too right?
I ended up putting on the demo for the -Bratt- Poplin layered t-shirt next. Once again it fit nicely. I don’t think I even had to adjust any of my sliders when I put it on. With fall in full swing having some layers is very handy and this one doesn’t disappoint. There are 37 texture options for both the short sleeve, and the long sleeve. Each changes independent of the other so there’s a lot of combination options. Like the jeans there is also the option for full bright and materials!
I highly recommend you guys and girls (yes there is female clothing there too) check out ODDITY. I picked up some other items from them that I’ll show in a future post. My look was topped of with the INFLICTION cap from =REBELLION=. They are also a newer store to me and I encourage you to check out as well!
