Souls

There are photos buried in my old Second Life folders that almost don’t feel like they belong to the same life anymore. The avatars are different, the world around them looks different, and photography was a completely different animal than what it is for me today. Then I look a little closer and there I am, Lucky Spiritor in 2011, still figuring out what the hell Second Life was going to be for me and having absolutely no idea that I’d still be here writing about any of it fifteen years later. It’s weird seeing that version of myself again because I remember him immediately, even if almost everything surrounding him has disappeared or changed beyond recognition.
