We start with the Flickr photo itself, including its current tags, so suggestions are based on reality instead of a blank form.
LUCKYSPIRITOR.COM · COMMUNITY TOOLS
Better tagging without the tedious part. Built for bloggers, photographers, and anyone who shares their Second Life on Flickr.
WHY THIS EXISTS
Second Life photos can involve creators, events, locations, people, fashion tags, photography tags, and a whole lot of exact names worth getting right. Flickr Tools is being built to handle the repetitive work while keeping every change visible before it happens.
This is an independent LuckySpiritor.com community tool. It uses Flickr's API, but it is not a Flickr product and is not endorsed by Flickr.
THE TOOL
The complicated machinery stays underneath. You get a clear path from your photo to a reviewed set of changes.
FLICKR TOOLS · PUBLIC BETA
Connection state is verified for this browser after the page loads.
This sets the evergreen Second Life tag family. Personal tags such as “Lucky Spiritor” are intentionally not part of the public defaults.
Not in the library? Add it anyway. Unknown entries stay with this photo and do not automatically become shared data.
Only add someone who is actually visible in the photo. Verified matches will be shown again on Review before anything changes on Flickr.
Pulled from Event History plus Flickr-specific mappings. If it is new, type it anyway.
LIVE PREVIEW
Choose a photo type to begin.
Load a Flickr photo to see its current tags.
Nothing over the 75-tag limit.
No people selected.
Review never changes Flickr. Apply adds only the new tags shown in the reviewed set, then reads the photo back from Flickr to verify the write.
HOW IT WORKS
We start with the Flickr photo itself, including its current tags, so suggestions are based on reality instead of a blank form.
Brands, photography terms, events, people, and reusable presets can be normalized without flattening the weird punctuation SL creators actually use.
A shared verified identity directory can match familiar Flickr identities behind the scenes. You should not need to know what an NSID is.
Already There, Tags to Add, People Found, Suggested Cleanup, and anything we could not identify stay separated and understandable.
Nothing gets written during review. Apply is the moment Flickr changes, and the tool verifies the result afterward.
Verified Flickr identities can strengthen the shared directory over time, while personal nicknames and aliases remain controlled instead of becoming global guesses.
PEOPLE, WITHOUT THE HEADACHE
Flickr has a real people system separate from ordinary text tags. Flickr Tools can use verified identities to associate the actual Flickr member with your photo, while still letting you review the match first.
TRANSPARENT BY DESIGN
Flickr requires it to add approved tags and people. Connecting alone does not modify a photo.
Useful tag ideas, creator/brand names, and the minimum public Flickr identity needed for verified People matches can improve future suggestions. Your photos, titles, descriptions, existing tag lists, profile content, and activity are not retained as tagging-library content. Authorization data exists only as needed to keep your Flickr connection working.
