I’m not even sure how to start this. But I’ll most certainly be mad at myself later if I don’t. It’ll be short that’s for sure.

This post is an interesting one to write up. Mostly because I truthfully don’t know where it ultimately ends. But in my endless journey of writing about wherever my mind is this is where I find myself right now. I might question that later seeing as the idea for this has hit me in the early hours of the morning. Maybe I’ll regret it, but I doubt it. I try to not do that when I can avoid it because everything leads us somewhere and this would be no different. I guess we’ll see what happens.

I find myself in a different space but an all too together similar place. It’s funny how life works that way sometimes. Parallels are always there in one form or another. You could read this as a letter to an unnamed someone, whom for the duration of this post I will only refer to as S. That’s for my own benefit and theirs I’m sure. You can guess if you want but there’s a high likelihood that you will be incorrect. Try though, it’s fun.

So as I’ve said numerous times before I have long since reached the point where I’m about 99.9% positive that I am finished with SL relationships. It’s not that I don’t believe in them or that I dislike them. Quite the contrary. I’ve been there more a time or two and while each was it’s own adventure of sorts, they all kind of ended either crazily or inexplicably. Does that mean it couldn’t change? Honestly if I had to say right now I would say no it won’t change. I’m pretty set on that and I’ve even questioned myself on it recently. I do believe that ship has sailed.

On the other side of things I have some ideas. As I said above they may end up going nowhere in the end. But, you miss 100% of the shots you don’t take so why not shoot? I’ve never been one to put on the full court press when it comes to that kind of thing because while I’ve seen it work for some, it just comes off pushy to me. I like to let things happen organically if they’re going to. If they don’t then they don’t. That doesn’t mean you can’t drop hints here and there or say certain things, but I just don’t subscribe to the hot pursuit methods. If she’s interested, then she is, if she’s not then so be it.

I’ll be curious to see where it ends up when all is said and done. I’ll be making some big changes in regards to that side of the puzzle very soon as I’ve reached my breaking point with the WoW part of my life. It may or may not affect this, it’s hard to say for sure. But I think even if it does then it was still the right call. I’ve been pretty miserable in the role I’ve been playing and my hand was forced a couple of days ago. I would have preferred to do it differently but maybe I would have just ignored it longer if it did. Sometimes you just have to roll with it. This feels like one of those times.

It shouldn’t throw anything off in terms of SL or my blogging (ha who are we kidding, my lack of blogging is what I should say.) The future is certainly uncertain at best right now. Hopeful for some clarity in the coming weeks. Maybe not with everything, including you S, but you never know. So until then let’s see where we go. I know I’m intrigued.

I would be doing a disservice if I didn’t at least mention the newness that this post and photo contain. The idea started from the opening scene of Season 2 of the BBC show Broadchurch. It opens to a field of bluebells and for some reason I found that sticking with me when I needed to figure out what I wanted to. I chose to somewhat use it for the backdrop and ended up where I am. The girl, well, she is the virtual personification of S for this post. I could have gone the lazy route and reused things I already had, but I thought that would be foolish. So I headed out and did my best to put something together that fit the picture in my mind.

It’s safe to say I hit multiple events and shops in this effort. It oddly enough started with the newest hair from the mind of Sabina Gully in Magika’s Olivia. I thought it looked great and oddly enough fit the name of the actress in Broadchurch went kind lead me to it being fate. After that I needed a bit more to finish this off. First stop UBER, to snag Junbug’s Bernadette dress. Oddly enough when I originally laid this out I was going to use her Alerie dress, but as well all know I’m slow so I changed it up. Both are exceptional and I would not be surprised if I use the other in the future.

Normally I don’t run tattoos on the fem alt, but this time it seemed like a good call. I really don’t know why but it did. So I went to what’s become my everyday brand for tattoos, DAPPA. Their newest release for the ladies is available at this month’s round of Kinky and it definitely fit what I was looking for. Oh yes, before I forget there is no photo without a pose. I saw the Lima poses from Ana Poses at The Arcade and immediately identified #1 as the one I needed to make this happen. Be sure to show all of these fabulous creators some love.

Shoot, one last thing. The music. If you don’t know who Ben Platt is, then well I wouldn’t be surprised honestly. I didn’t either until a few weeks ago. But, you should check him out. He’s got some talent and I’ll be keeping an eye on what he does. Especially with his album coming out on March 29. You can find him here on YouTube.
